Collect guest photos in OneDrive
Use your personal OneDrive account to keep the photos and videos your guests share. Guests upload through your event's QR code or link, without installing OneDrive or signing into Microsoft.
How to get started

Sign in and connect your storage
First open OneDrive with your personal Microsoft account and check that My files loads. Then choose Connect OneDrive from Connected storage and approve Microsoft's app-folder permission.

Create an event and choose its destination
Each event saves its originals to one connection. You can connect several services to your account and choose one for each new event. Adding a service does not move photos from existing events.

Share your QR code with guests
Text the link, place the QR code at the entrance or display it on a screen. Guests can upload photos and videos during the event and afterward.
Where to find your originals
In OneDrive, open Apps, then WeddingQR and GalleryQR. Each event has its own folder, with guest folders inside it. The original files remain in your Microsoft account, where you can download or organize them using OneDrive.
What access you grant
Microsoft grants access to the app's own folder in OneDrive. Your other OneDrive files remain outside this permission. Your Microsoft email can be different from the email you use to sign into the app.
Storage questions
- Do guests need an account?
- No. Guests open your link or scan the QR code and upload through their browser. Only the host connects OneDrive.
- What does the $39 payment include?
- One $39 payment unlocks your GalleryQR account for unlimited events, with galleries, QR codes and slideshows. Your storage provider's available space and any plan fees are separate.
- What happens if my storage fills up?
- You need available space in OneDrive to save originals. If it fills up, free space or upgrade your storage plan, then check the connection status in the app. The app does not include unlimited cloud storage.
- Can I access my photos outside the app?
- Yes. Once saved to OneDrive, the originals are in your own account. You can download and keep them using your provider's tools. Their availability depends on your storage account and the provider's terms.
