How GalleryQR works

You create a gallery, guests scan a QR code, and photos arrive in your Google Drive. Setup takes about two minutes.

  1. Before your event

Create your gallery and print your code

Connect Google Drive, name your event, and you get a QR code plus a link like galleryqr.com/e/your-event. Print the code on table cards, project it on a screen, or text the link to everyone.

  2. During your event

    Guests scan and upload

Guests point their phone camera at the code and upload straight from the browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create. You can watch photos arrive live as a slideshow. Guest pages appear in English or Spanish to match each guest's phone.

  3. After your event

    Everything is in your Drive

Photos are saved to your own Google Drive at full resolution, organized into folders by guest name, and each file is named by the time it was taken. The gallery never expires.

Where your photos go

Photos are stored in your own Google Drive, in folders GalleryQR creates for you. You own the files from the moment they are uploaded. Every file is named with the time the photo was actually taken, read from the photo itself, so your event stays in order.

Example Google Drive folder structure: a Summer Party folder containing a folder per guest (Maya, Dev, Priya), each photo named with the time it was taken, such as Jul 12 '26 at 9:41 pm - Maya.jpg

Pricing

GalleryQR costs $39, paid once. That covers unlimited events, unlimited photos, and unlimited guests. There is no subscription and nothing expires. Creating an account is free, and you pay when you are ready to activate your first event.

Frequently asked questions

How does GalleryQR work?

GalleryQR creates a custom QR code and link for your event. Share it with guests, and they can instantly upload photos from their phones - no app downloads required! All photos go directly to your connected Google Drive.

How much does it cost to create an event?

Just $39 one-time payment. Once you pay, you can access every feature on GalleryQR - unlimited events, unlimited photo uploads, unlimited guests, and your event pages never expire. No subscriptions or hidden fees.

Where are photos stored and how long do I have access?

Photos are stored directly in your Google Drive account. You have access forever - event pages never expire and you maintain full control of your photos in your own storage.

How are photos organized in my Google Drive?

Photos are organized in a clear folder structure: Event Name/Guest Name/Jul 24 '25 at 2:01am - Guest Name.jpg Not just a dump of IMG_4829 files! You can easily find all photos from a specific guest or time of day. For the photography geeks: we read EXIF data to get the actual time each photo was taken, not just when it was uploaded.

What do guests need to upload photos?

Just a phone with a camera and internet! Guests scan the QR code or visit the link, select photos, optionally add their name, and upload. No app downloads or account creation required.

Who can view photos from my event?

Only people with your unique QR code or link can upload photos. You can choose whether guests can also view photos - each event has a public/private setting you control.

Can I stop accepting uploads after my event ends?

Yes! You can deactivate your event at any time from the settings page. This prevents new uploads while keeping all existing photos accessible to you.
